PROTECT YOUR MORTGAGE APPROVAL

Changes in your credit situation can have an effect on your closing on a home purchase, including delaying or reversing your mortgage approval!

Contact your Loan Officer with any questions you may have. Stay current on existing accounts, keep debt levels the same, do not make any changes to your credit until after settlement.

Do not apply for any credit, do not close credit accounts, do not increase your debt level in any accounts (keep your spending habits the same), do not consolidate your debt, do not co-sign for anything, do not transfer or deposit any gift funds. If any of these situations arise, please discuss how to proceed with your Loan Officer.

Most Lenders today are doing pre-settlement credit inspections on the day of closing. Any changes to your credit from the date of application/approval may effect your settlement.
